Review Guidelines
These guidelines explain how reviews work on agentmatchmaker, what we expect from the people who post them, and what happens when the rules are broken. They apply to everyone, consumers and agents alike.
How reviews work
Reviews come from real clients, through our review process. We don't write reviews. An agent invites a past client, or a client uses our public review form, and the client submits the review directly before it's checked and published with a verified label.
What makes a good review
The most useful reviews describe a real, first hand experience working with the agent. What you were buying or selling, how the agent communicated, and how things turned out. Keep it honest, specific, and respectful.
What's not allowed
- Fake, fabricated, or incentivized reviews
- Review manipulation of any kind (coordinating, trading, or buying reviews)
- Agents reviewing themselves
- Agents submitting reviews on behalf of clients
- Reviews from people with a conflict of interest, such as family members or competitors
- Threats, harassment, or abusive conduct
- Spam, advertising, or off-topic content
- Content that is discriminatory, defamatory, or shares someone's private personal information
