- agentmatchmaker is a real estate agent review and ranking network for British Columbia. We help buyers and sellers find a local agent who fits by city, neighbourhood, specialty, and language. We match on fit rather than on who pays the most.
- Who is behind agentmatchmaker?
- agentmatchmaker was founded by licensed real estate professionals who saw the problem from the inside: great local agents were hard to find while the loudest advertisers won the attention. So we built the solution, a network where agents are matched by fit and recognition is earned through verified reviews, never bought.
- Is agentmatchmaker free for buyers and sellers?
- Yes, completely free. Searching, comparing agents, reading verified reviews, and taking the matchmaker quiz cost nothing, and you don't need an account to browse. Agents can never pay us to be recommended to you.
- How does the 2 minute matchmaker quiz work?
- The quiz asks a few short questions about what you're buying or selling, where, and what matters to you. We use your answers to surface the agents whose specialties, areas, and experience fit your situation, so you can start with the right people instead of scrolling a directory.Take the matchmaker quiz
- Where do your reviews come from, and how are they verified?
- Reviews come straight from real clients. An agent invites a past client, or a client uses our public review form, and the client submits the review directly to us. We don't write reviews, and agents can't edit them. Each one is checked before it's published and shown with a verified label so you can weigh it yourself.
- Can agents pay to rank higher?
- No. Ranking and recognition aren't for sale. Paid plans may unlock extra profile and contact features, but badges, recognition, and signals from reviews are based on evidence like transaction history and verified reviews, not on spend.
- How do I contact an agent I like?
- Open any agent's profile and use the contact options they've shared there. You can reach out to as many agents as you like before choosing, and it costs you nothing. If you'd rather start from a shortlist, take the matchmaker quiz first and we'll surface the agents who fit.
- Which areas does agentmatchmaker cover?
- We're focused on British Columbia today, with dedicated pages for cities across the province, plus specialties like luxury, condos, first time buyers, presales, and investment properties. British Columbia is our starting point, and we plan to expand across Canada over time.
- What kind of reviews are not allowed?
- We don't allow fake or incentivized reviews, or reviews from someone with a conflict of interest such as the agent, their family, or a competitor. We also don't allow content that's abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, or that shares private personal information.Read our full Review Guidelines
